- Usability Review A usability review performed by a neutral third-party will determine the extent to which your website is user friendly and bring to light usability problems which can hinder the effectiveness of your website. A usability review will show you the weaknesses of your website
which can impede the progress of your visitors. |
| Speed of Download. Did you know that a typical website has at most 6-8 seconds to get and keep the attention of the average visitor? Much longer than that and it's a quick click and on to another website. |
| Navigation. Visitors need to be able to find what they are looking for on the website quickly and efficiently. |
| Content. The website needs to be updated and include current information. For example, it is very irritating to get on a website in January and find specials which ended at Christmas. |
| Consistency throughout the site. Without it, a visitor could easily become confused and leave. |
| Information and/or graphic overload. Too much, too quick can be overwhelming. Also, if graphics are not presented correctly, download time can be extremely long and slow down the visitor's progress. |
| Links. If links don't work properly or there's a link to a site that no longer exists, a visitor can become irritated. |
| |
Spelling. Spelling errors can damage the image that you would like your business to portray. |
| |
Order Process (if applicable). The order process will be followed from beginning to end to verify how easily a customer can complete the process. |
| Websites are the exits on the internet
highway. It is the job of Web Usability, the Rightway to initiate a tune-up of your website in
order to entice visitors to your exit, make them feel welcome, have
their stay be a fruitful one, and persuade them to return.
